These general terms govern use of the website and platform. Role-specific terms also apply to customers, merchants and riders.
You must have legal capacity to use the service, provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity on your account and must protect your device, password and one-time passwords. Never share an OTP. Tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
An order is a request to buy from a participating merchant and arrange delivery. Prices, taxes, fees, discounts, availability and the final total should be shown before confirmation. Customers may pay using an available Gostto Wallet balance or another payment method shown in the app. Merchants may reject or adjust unavailable items with the customer’s agreement. Payment authorisation does not guarantee acceptance.
Merchants are responsible for lawful, accurate and safe products, descriptions, prices, preparation and packaging. Riders are responsible for lawful conduct, reasonable care and delivery updates. Gostto provides platform and coordination services and may take steps to protect users and service integrity.
Customers must provide an accurate, accessible address and remain contactable. Estimates are not guarantees and may change due to preparation, demand, traffic, weather, safety or other conditions. Additional instructions, redelivery or cancellation consequences may apply when delivery cannot be completed for reasons outside Gostto’s control.
Do not use the platform for unlawful, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen or otherwise prohibited items. Age-restricted or regulated goods may require verification and may not be available. Users must not misuse the service, scrape data, interfere with security or harm another person.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the order stage, reason, evidence and payment status. The Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Report a dispute promptly through support with the order reference.
An available Gostto Wallet balance may be used for eligible orders and withdrawn to a verified bank account through the options shown in the app. Promotional credits may have separate eligibility, duration and usage rules and may not be withdrawable as cash. Credits obtained by error or abuse may be reversed. Reviews or other content must be honest, lawful and respectful. You keep ownership of your content while granting Gostto permission to display and moderate it for platform operation.
We may restrict or end access for fraud, safety risk, repeated policy breaches, unlawful activity, non-payment or material harm to the platform. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and offer a support path. You may stop using the service and request permanent deletion subject to lawful retention.
Gostto’s brand, software and original content are protected. No ownership transfers to users. Service areas, features and partners may change, and maintenance or events outside reasonable control may interrupt access.
Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Gostto is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or loss caused by inaccurate user information, independent merchant conduct, prohibited use or events beyond reasonable control. Any limitation must be assessed against the specific circumstances and applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Contact support first so a dispute can be investigated and the parties can try to resolve it fairly. If it cannot be resolved informally, either party may use the remedies available under Nigerian law.
